To guide in the development of tools to measure BE BOLD’s impact, The Misty Copeland Foundation has engaged Gess LeBlanc, Ph.D . Dr. LeBlanc participated in the initial design of the BE BOLD methodology and created a Logic Model to help articulate the short, intermediate, and long-term goals of BE BOLD, and to identify how the specific program components address each goal.

To capture and measure BE BOLD’s impact on the program’s multiple stakeholders, especially the children and teaching artists, Dr. LeBlanc will also be guiding development of an evaluation system, including survey instruments and related administration. The intent of the evaluation system is to not only measure BE BOLD’s impact, but also create feedback to guide continuous improvement of program quality.
